Here is the best chocolate cake recipe
Sugar – 2 cups
All Purpose Flour – 1 3/4 cups
Baking powder – 1 1/2 tsp
3/4 Cup Cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 cup Boiling water
1. Preheat the oven 350F and grease and flour the nine inch round baking pan.
2.Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.
3.Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
Fresh Cream – 250 ml
Dark Chocolate, chopped – 500 gms
Butter – 50 gms
1.Heat the cream and add the chopped chocolate and melt them to smooth consistency
2.Add the butter and remove from flame, Stir the ganache to bring it to back to room temperature
3.Cut the cake and apply the ganache, and stack each layer and decorate the cake, u like
I used the homemade chocolate clay flowers, choco sprinkles and some cherries..I didnt do any swirls, since i wanted it something new and out of the usual stuff…The cake travelled nearly 20 kms and took my breathe every minute..
