Aadi matham (Aadi- Tamil month) is born, which is auspicious for goddess… All the festivals starts with this month.. People worship goddess in temples and offer food (Pongal, Kuzhl, kozhukattai) to others. Some People worship the goddess at home on any adi friday by making grand pooja at home, devoting bangles, saree, jewels, mehendi, sweets, savouries…etc., what all the goddess likes to have,they denote it to ladies ….

Ingredients

Pasi Parupu-1 cup

Jaggery – 3/4 cup

Coconut -3 tbsp

Cashew roasted in ghee-a few

Elaichi powder -pinch

Method

1.Cook moong dal well n smash it

2.Add jaggery, coconut, Elachi powder to it n boil well

and cook for 10 minutes.

3.Add roasted cashew in ghee for garnishing
